Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Hollis Troxel is in his fourth season of distance running with the Yellow Jackets.....competed in five varsity meets total during his junior season.....achieved a career-best mark in the 8K of 28:09 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.....clocked in 28:42 at DePauw.

2008 - Participated in four varsity meets as a sophomore.....turned in a season-best effort of 28:26 at the Aquinas Invitational.....timed in 29:32 in the Cedarville Open.

2007 - Saw action in three varsity meets during rookie year.....posted a season-best time of 29:27 at the NAIA Region IX Championship.....distance runner on the track & field team.

High School - Earned three letters in four years of cross country at Anchorage Christian High School.....led team to 2005 state championship among schools in divisions 1A, 2A, and 3A by winning the individual title .....served as team captain.....three-year letter winner in wrestling.....member of squad that won back-to-back state titles on the mat.

Personal - Dean’s list student as a business administration major at Cedarville University.....born 10/26/88 in Fairbanks, AK.....son of Sheree Troxel and the late Chester Troxel.....married former Lady Jacket distance runner Melissa Wysong on July 18, 2009.....has one younger sister.
