CAREER STATS

Isaac Wheeler returns for his fourth year with the Yellow Jackets.....did not compete during the 2017 cross country season.....sat out the indoor track season, but returned to action for three outdoor meets in the 5K.....best time was 16:57.06 at the Cedarville Collegiate.

2016 - Sat out the 2016 cross country campaign.....returned to competition during the outdoor track season.....best 1,500 was 4:18.76 at the Hanover Invitational.

2015 - Ran in the first six meets of his sophomore season.....finished among the team’s top seven five times.....set a career-best 8K of 26:29 at the Lewis Cross-Over.....timed in 26:34 at the All-Ohio.....placed 15th in the G-MAC Championship in 27:43.....distance runner during the indoor season.....did not compete outdoors.

2014 - Competed in five cross country meets as a freshman.....placed 24th in the G-MAC Championship with a season-best 8K of 28:23.....competed in the middle distance and distance events in track & field.....G-MAC Indoor First Team with a win in the distance medley relay.....G-MAC Indoor Freshmen Team.

High School - Earned three letters in cross country at Newark Senior High School.....All-Central District honoree.....named to the Ohio Capital Conference Second Team.....two-year letter winner in track & field.....conference champs.....state qualifier in the 4 x 800 relay.....class valedictorian.....National Merit Scholarship commended student.....Academic All-Ohio.....OHSAA Scholar-Athlete.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/8/95 in Newark, OH.....married wife, Gabby, who is a senior distance runner for the Lady Jackets on 5/18/18.....son of Michael and Patricia Wheeler.....has two younger sisters.
