Jared Vega is in his fourth year as a member of the cross country squad.....participated in five varsity meets during junior campaign.....best 8K was 26:40 at the Lewis Cross-Over.....timed in 33:43 for the 10K at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional.....competed in the distance events during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team

2015 - Saw action in three meets as a sophomore.....best 8K was 28:24 at the Lewis Cross-Over.....distance runner on the track.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014 - Appeared in the first four cross country meets of the season.....fastest 8K time was 28:19 at Carnegie Mellon.....finished 45th in the Friendship Invitational in 28:27.....distance runner during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013 - Did not compete in cross country as a freshman.....distance runner on the track & field team.....placed 5th in the G-MAC 5,000 meters in 17:09.61.....best time of the year was 16:46.39 at Miami.

High School - Prepped at Glenoak High School.....two-year letter winner in cross country for the Golden Eagles.....achieved four letters in track & field.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a pharmacy major at Cedarville University.....born 6/16/94 in Canton, OH.....son of John and Jodie Vega.....has one older brother.
