Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jordan Davies has competed in every varsity meet during his three-year Yellow Jacket career.....placed among the team’s top five runners in seven of eight outings as a junior.....posted a career-best 26:13 in the 8K to place 14th in the Friendship Invitational.....finished 38th at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational in 26:35 and was 21st in the NCCAA Championship in 27:03.....team’s #2 runner and finished 56th in the All-Ohio Championship in 28:04.....ran the distance events for the track & field squad.

2008 - One of three runners to see action in all eight outings as a sophomore.....was among team’s top seven runners seven times.....matched his season-best of 26:35 at the NAIA Nationals as CU’s #4 finisher.....also timed in 26:35 at the Aquinas Invitational to place 60th of 228 competitors.....broke 27:00 in two other meets.....finished 21st in the NCCAA Championship in 27:06.....ran the distance events indoors and outdoors on the track.....part of school-record 4 x 800 meter relay squad that was clocked in 7:48.08.

2007 - Ran in all eight varsity meets as a freshman and was among the team’s top five finishers seven times.....posted a season-low time of 26:56 at the NAIA Championship as the #3 runner for CU.....clocked in 27:01 at the Cedarville Open to finish 11th overall.....finished 37th of 156 competitors at the NCCAA Championship in 27:02.....distance runner on the track team.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at Shawnee High School.....named the school’s top runner on the cross country unit three times.....two-time regional and state qualifier.....All-Ohio Division II performer on the track in the 1,600 meters as a senior with a school-record time of 4:18.59 which placed 5th.....three-time regional qualifier in the event.....also holds school records in the 800 (1:57.8) and 4 x 800 relay (8:11).....member of Central Buckeye Conference track championship team as a junior.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Electrical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 7/4/89 in Xenia, OH.....son of Don Davies and Brenda Davies.....older sister, Brittany, was a four-year track & field athlete at Malone University.....older sister, Bethany, was an NAIA All-America track performer in her four years at Cedarville.....has one younger brother.
