Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Scott Gardner is a fourth-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....was the varsity line-up four times as a junior.....best 8K mark of the season was 28:55 at the Friendship Invitational.....timed in 29:12 at the Ohio Independent Championship.

2010 - Competed in five varsity meets as a sophomore.....posted a career-best 8K mark of 27:30 at the American Mideast Conference Championship to place 44th of 105.....distance runner on the track team.

2009 - Saw action in five varsity meets during rookie season.....best time was 28:24 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.....ran the distance events for the track & field squad.

High School - Ran three seasons of cross country earning two letters during his prep career at Falmouth High School.....picked up all-conference and all-region honors.....achieved all-academic recognition.....four-year performer in indoor track with three letters.....awarded two letters in two seasons outdoors.....member of three-time state championship indoor track team.....outdoor squad was 2009 state champion.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 11/26/90 in Portland, ME.....son of Robert and Sarah Gardner.....younger brother, Michael, is a junior sprinter on the Yellow Jacket track team.....has another younger brother.
