CAREER STATS

Zac Bowen is a fourth-year distance runner for the Yellow Jackets.....competed in seven meets as a junior and was among the team’s top five finishers each time.....repeated as NCCAA All-American for runner-up squad.....placed 15th overall in a season-best 8K mark 26:12.....team’s #4 finishers and 79th overall at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional in a career-best 10K of 32:28.....G-MAC Second Team placing 9th in 27:19 helping CU to fifth straight title.....competed in the distance events during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.

2015 - NCCAA All-American as a sophomore placing 15th in a career-best 8K of 25:51 to helped lead Cedarville to the national title.....All-G-MAC Second Team as part of conference title squad.....finished 93rd of 215 runners in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional in 33:18 for the 10K.....distance runner on the track.....earned All-G-MAC Indoor Third Team recognition.

2014 - G-MAC Freshman of the Year in cross country.....All-G-MAC First Team placing 5th overall in a season-low 8K time of 26:16.....one of three runners to participate in all seven meets.....finished 14th in the Cedarville Open in 26:45.....placed 74th of 202 in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional in 33:07 for the 10K.....distance runner during the track & field season.....G-MAC Indoor Third Team after placing 3rd in the 5,000 meters.....G-MAC Indoor Freshmen Team.

High School - Graduated from Cedarville High School and produced an outstanding career for the Indians.....earned four letters in cross country.....four-time All-Ohio Heritage Conference performer achieving first team honors his last three seasons.....2013 district champion and all-region first team with sixth-place showing in region meet.....four-time Team MVP.....won four individual titles as a senior and qualified for the state meet.....notable three-year track career.....district 1600 meter champion as a senior and a state qualifier in the 4 x 800 relay.....2014 OHC Track Athlete of the Year with victories in the 1600, 3200, and 4 x 800.....five-time OHC champion.....guided squad to 2013 and 2014 district championships as well as conference crown as a senior.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a graphic design major at Cedarville University.....born 7/10/95 in Columbus, IN.....son of Ryan and Monica Bowen.....father was a four-year golfer for the Yellow Jackets and is the program’s head coach.....younger sister, Macy, is a freshman soccer reserve player at the University.
