Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Brigham Michaud is back for his fourth season and is the Yellow Jackets’ top returning player.....begins the year seventh on CU’s all-time scoring list with a 77.75 career average.....led last year’s squad at 75.63.....made the All-American Mideast Conference Team after placing eighth with 71-78-76-225.....medalist at the Ohio Dominican Classic with a one-under par 72-71-143.....tied for medalist at Shawnee State with 72-75-147.....runner-up in the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational at 74-76-150.....carded a one-under 69 at the Muskingum Invitational and finished tied for eighth with a 146 total.....tied for 19th at the NCCAA Championship with 77-80-74-231.....broke 80 in 16-of-19 rounds.

2009-10 - Stepped up to average 78.59 in nine events as a sophomore to rate second on the team.....fired a career-best four-under par 68 at the Beavercreek Golf Club in the first round of the Cedarville Invitational and finished tied for third with a 148 total.....CU Fall Invitational runner-up with 76-40-116.....placed fourth at Shawnee State with 71-79-150.....tied for 36th in the NCCAA (79-76-78-233) and tied for 18th in the AMC (81-78-78-237).

2008-09 - Only played the fall season as a freshman.....carded rounds of 82-81-163 at the Wittenberg Invitational.....made his collegiate debut with 87-84-171 at the Kisor Classic.

High School - Four-year golfer at Cheverus High School.....named Team MVP as a junior and senior.....two-time team captain.....selected Rookie of the Year following freshman campaign.....member of state championship team as a sophomore and state runner-up squad as a senior.....Coaches’ Award recipient.....threw the shot put and discus on the track & field team.

Personal - Business major at Cedarville University.....born 8/16/89 in Brunswick, ME.....son of Steven and Christine Michaud.....older brother, Ben, was a five-time NAIA All-American in the shot put as a member of the Yellow Jacket track & field program from 2006-09.....also has an older sister and a younger brother.
