Chris Reese became Director of Golf Operations for the Yellow Jacket men’s program for the 2016-17 season.
Reese was promoted to the position of Associate Athletic Director for Events and Facilities in 2011. He initially returned to his alma mater in 2009 as the assistant athletic director for events.
Reese has been involved in collegiate athletic administration since 1994. He served as athletic director and head men’s basketball coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan University from 2003-2007 and previously held the same positions at Multnomah Bible College in Oregon from 1994-2003.
Reese came to the University following a two-year stint at South Webster (Ohio) High School. He was a physical education teacher and the head boys varsity basketball coach from 2007-2009.
Reese, who was a former standout basketball player with the Yellow Jackets before graduating in 1989, oversees all competitive indoor and outdoor athletic contests on campus as well as all of the athletic facilities. He also assisted in the school's transition to the NCAA.
Chris and his wife Cheryl, who is also a Cedarville graduate and the dean’s assistant in the School of Pharmacy, have two children. Their son, Jordan, is a senior golfer for the Yellow Jackets and their daughter, Nicole, is a freshman at the University.
