John Sandlas is back for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....averaged 81.79 strokes per 18 holes as a junior.....saw action in eight events totaling 19 rounds.....matched his career-low 18 with 77-73-81-231 to place 14th at the Southeastern Kentucky Invitational.....tied for 11th in the NCCAA Midwest Regional with 78-75-153.....tied for 13th in the G-MAC Championship with 78-77-77-232.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014-15 - One of two golfers to play all 19 rounds in nine events during his sophomore campaign.....averaged 80.74.....earned a spot on the G-MAC Team after placing 5th with 81-80-84 in windy conditions at the conference championship.....set career-lows for 18 and 36 holes with 77-73-150 at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional #3.....tied for 8th in the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational with 77-79-156.....carded 80-77-157 for 16th place in the NCCAA Midwest Regional.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013-14 - Played eight rounds in four events as a freshman with an average of 81.88.....made his collegiate debut with an 81 and season-best 78 for a 159 total at the Ohio Dominican Classic.....totaled 79-82-161 in the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational.

High School - Homeschool graduate, who didn’t play for a high school team.....2010 New York State Golf Association Boys Amateur champion following rounds of 74-73 at the Mendon (N.Y.) Golf Club.....three-time medalist as a New York State Junior Amateur qualifier.....2009 Central New York PGA Boys Player of the Year.....member of the Syracuse District Golf Association Williamson Cup Team in both 2011 and 2012.....represented the United States in Scotland in 2012 as part of the International Junior Golf Tour EuroCup Team.....four-year letter winner in basketball at Finger Lakes Christian High School.....three-time Team MVP and graduated as the school’s all-time scorer and rebounder.....three-time All-Empire State Christian Athletic League selection.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 10/28/95 in Geneva, NY.....son of Henry and Cheryl Sandlas.....married wife, Leah, on Aug. 9, 2014.....has one younger sister.
