Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Matt Yeiter is in his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....averaged 82.13 strokes per 18 holes as a junior.....shot 84-76 at Shawnee State with his final round a career-best.....tied for 8th at Mount Vernon Nazarene with 78-82-160.....turned in 78-81-81-240 to tie for 23rd in the American Mideast Conference.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2008-09 - Played eight rounds total in four tournaments during his sophomore year.....opened the campaign with a season-low 82 at the Kisor Classic.....best 36-hole effort was 85-83 for a 168 total at the Wittenberg Invitational.....posted an average of 84.88.

2007-08 - Saw action in four tournaments as a freshman.....shot a season-low 80 in the first round of the Huntington Invitational.....carded an 83 in the second round to tie his second-best round of the year.....averaged 85.47 for the season.

High School - Played three seasons of golf and earned one letter at Traverse City Christian High School.....averaged 39 strokes per nine holes as a senior and tied for 3rd place in the regional with a 77 to pick up all-region honors.....participated in four seasons of basketball..... graduated with school records for the most three-pointers made in a game (8), season (72), and career (193).....played four years of soccer and member of conference, district, and regional championship team.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as a marketing and finance major at Cedarville University.....born 2/7/89 in Traverse City, MI....son of Curt and Chris Yeiter.....has one older brother and an older sister.
