Biography
Nick Bigler is a fourth-year golfer with the Yellow Jackets.....played in seven events as a junior averaging 83.58 strokes per 18 holes.....carded a career-low 18-hole score in the final round of the Ohio Dominican/Otterbein Classic with 81-76-74 for a 231 total.....totaled 81-82-163 at the Shawnee State Invitational.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2008-09 - Averaged 82.88 in eight rounds of four tournaments as a sophomore.....totaled 81-80-161 at the Shawnee State Invitational for his low 18 and 36-hole scores of the season.....carded back-to-back 82's in the Cedarville Invitational to tie for 24th individually.
2007-08 - Appeared in five events as a freshman....tied for 24th at the AMC Championship at 78-79-76-233 with final round his lowest of the season.....best 36 holes was 78-77-155 at Mount Vernon Nazarene which tied for 16th.
High School - Produced a successful four-year golf career at Concord High School.....earned three letters and played in the #2 position.....achieved All-Northern Lakes Conference recognition.....played in two state tournaments.....averaged 40 strokes per nine holes over three seasons with a career-best 35.....was the 2006 Elkhart County Junior champion and qualified for the Indiana Boys State Junior Amateur.....high school classmate of fellow CU golfer Trent Roach.....named to the Academic All-Conference Team.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an accounting and finance major at Cedarville University.....born 2/3/89 in Elkhart, IN....son of James and Heidi Bigler.....older brother, Brett, was a golfer at CU from 2005-09.....also has a younger sister, Alison.
