Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Bryce Childers is back for his fourth season as a Yellow Jacket forward.....played in all 19 matches with 14 starts as a junior.....ranked second on the team in scoring with eight goals and one assist for 17 points.....netted a career-high three goals in a 7-0 win over G-MAC foe Kentucky Wesleyan.....tallied the final two goals in a 3-0 result against California PA and the final two goals in a 4-0 G-MAC shutout over Malone.....scored the game winner a 2-0 league victory at Lake Erie.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2016 - Paced the squad in scoring with seven goals and three assists for 17 points.....appeared in 21 matches with 14 starts.....tallied the second goal of a 2-1 win over Alderson Broaddus.....83rd minute score provided a 1-1 draw vs. Salem International.....had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 decision against Malone at Athletes in Action.....also found the net in victories over Mercyhurst and Kentucky Wesleyan.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015 - Saw action in 10 contests as a rookie in a reserve role.....recorded one assist during a 5-0 G-MAC home win vs. Ohio Valley in the regular season finale.

High School - Three-year varsity soccer player at Blue Springs South High School.....named to the all-state first team and all-region first team as senior.....Area Player of the Year and conference Defender of the Year.....two-time all-area first team and all-district first team.....all-conference second team as a junior and all-district second team as a sophomore.....tallied 22 goals and 21 assists during his career.....2014 team captain and guided squad to the district championship.....member of club team that won the 2012 state title.....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a molecular and cellular biology major at Cedarville University with a specialization in pre-dentistry.....born 3/26/97 in Blue Springs, MO.....son of Todd and Shea Childers.....younger brother, Brady, is a freshman wrestler at Northwestern College in Iowa.....has another younger brother, Brooks, and a younger sister, Braylee.
