Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Colton Potter returns to the Yellow Jackets for his fourth season in the outfield.....NCCAA All-America Second Team selection as a junior.....NCCAA Midwest Region Team and G-MAC Second Team.....batted a team-high .381 last spring.....started all 45 games in which he played in center field and batted third in the lineup every game.....led the team in runs (31), hits (69), triples (2), total bases (92), on base percentage (.406), and stolen bases (14).....paced squad with 21 multi-hit games including three four-hit outings in a span of four games (Rockhurst, Spring Hill, Oakland City.....tallied five three-hit performances and seven multi-RBI games.....produced a 12-game hitting streak and ended the season having reached base in 22 consecutive contests.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2016 - Named to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team as a sophomore.....started all 42 games in which he played.....batted .344 with 52 hits in 151 at bats.....racked up 13 doubles, four triples, a home run, and 31 RBI’s to go along with 29 runs scored.....assembled 16 multi-hit games and the only player on the team with two four-hit efforts (Upper Iowa, Mansfield).....led club with nine multi-RBI games featuring a trio of three-RBI contests and four RBI’s against Oakland City.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015 - Gained valuable experience as a freshman by appearing in 41 games with 33 starts.....batted .250 with four doubles, a triple, and 20 RBI’s.....led the team with five stolen bases and scored 24 runs.....registered nine two-hit games.....had two hits including a double and four RBI’s in a 10-9 win over Saginaw Valley State.....finished the campaign with an eight-game hitting streak.....went 4-for-9 (.444) in the G-MAC Tournament.

High School - Four-year baseball career at Jersey Shore High School.....lettered all four seasons.....earned all-state recognition as a senior.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Biblical studies major at Cedarville University.....born 5/18/95 in Jersey Shore, PA.....son of Wade and Tammy Potter.....has two older brothers and a younger sister.
