2013 - Appeared in all 20 matches including nine starts....tallied a goal and added two assists for four points.....scored his third collegiate goal in a 6-1 G-MAC win at Kentucky Wesleyan.....recorded an assist in a 4-1 Homecoming win vs. Shippensburg and in a 3-1 league victory over visiting Alderson Broaddus.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2012 - Made a solid contribution as a rookie with eight starts and 21 total appearances.....finished the season with two goals.....found the net in victories over Salem International and Kentucky Wesleyan.

High School - Four-year letter winner in soccer at Watkins Memorial High School.....tallied nine goals and 17 assists from the midfield position during his career.....Ohio Capital Conference honorable mention.....OCC Scholar-Athlete.....helped squad to sectional title as a senior.

Club - Three-year captain of Blast FC in Westerville, Ohio.....member of USYSA Ohio South State Championship team in 2008 and 2012.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as an electrical engineering major at Cedarville University.....IEEE Power and Energy Society Scholar.....born 9/15/93 in Pataskala, OH.....son of Jim and Sherry Newman.....younger sister, Samantha, is a freshman soccer player with the Lady Jackets.
