Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jon Brown returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets following an outstanding junior campaign.....played in all 21 matches with 20 starts for G-MAC championship squad.....ranked second in scoring with four goals and a team-high eight assists for 16 points.....netted the final two goals in a 3-0 result over Quincy in CU’s first-ever NCAA Division II Tournament game.....had the game winner in a 2-0 win vs. Ohio Valley in the G-MAC semifinals.....converted the deciding penalty kick in the G-MAC championship match against Alderson Broaddus.....registered two assists during a 4-2 home victory against Trevecca.....produced a goal with an assist of a 4-0 final vs. visiting Kentucky Wesleyan.....assisted the overtime game winner of a 1-0 decision at Malone.....All-Ohio Division II Second Team.....Academic All-Ohio Division II Second Team.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014 - Played in 19 matches with one start as a sophomore.....tallied one goal and two assists which all came during a 9-0 win over G-MAC foe Ohio Valley.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013 - Played on the Yellow Jacket reserve squad.

High School - Four-year soccer player at Port Clinton High School and is a homeschool graduate.....member of a district championship squad in 2012 and two conference championship teams.....All-Ohio First Team selection as a senior and achieved second team honors as a junior.....District MVP as a senior.....two-time Sandusky Bay Conference MVP.....set school record for most goals in a season (45).....registered a school-record 88 career goals with 33 assists during four years of prep action.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a physics major at Cedarville University.....born 9/23/94 in Findlay, OH.....son of Larry and Cindy Brown.....older brother, David, is a former soccer player at Cornerstone University.....younger brother, Josh, is a freshman member of the Yellow Jackets’ reserve team.
