Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Ryan Thurman returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....played in 22 matches with nine starts as a junior.....netted three goals and handed out a team-high nine assists to rate third on the club in scoring with 15 points.....registered three assists in a 6-1 result vs. Seton Hill in the season opener.....tallied a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Milligan.....All-Ohio Second Team.....Ohio Independent Championship First Team.....NCCAA Midwest Region honorable mention.....Callan Sports Ministry Award recipient.

2010 - Made 22 appearances with 18 starts as a sophomore.....ranked fifth on the squad in scoring with two goals and five assists for nine points.....scored the first goal of the season in a 6-2 decision over Cincinnati Christian.....credited with the first score in a 4-0 win against #1 seed Covenant at the NCCAA National Tournament.....set up the overtime winner of a 3-2 final versus Indiana Wesleyan in the Dave Jones Memorial Classic.....had two assists in a 5-0 win over Point Park.

2009 - Played in all 20 matches during his freshman year and made eight starts.....scored one goal which came in a 2-0 victory at Grove City.

High School - Prepped in soccer at Lakota East High School.....four-year letter winner for the Division I Thunderhawks.....garnered valuable club soccer experience and was part of Ohio Elite state championship squad.

Personal - Sport management major at Cedarville University.....born 8/4/90 in Fort Polk, LA.....son of Rex Thurman and Sheree Ripley.....has an older brother and a younger sister.
