Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Steve Ellis leads the Yellow Jackets’ back line.....serves as a team captain.....NCCAA All-America First Team honoree.....named to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team after helping CU to a third-place finish while allowing just one goal in the tournament.....voted to the All-Ohio First Team and the Ohio Independent Championship First Team.....started all 23 matches and recorded three assists.....tallied two assists in season-opening 6-1 win over Seton Hill.....converted the clinching shootout PK against Grace in the NCCAA Midwest Region title match.

2010 - Played in all 22 matches in 2010 with 21 starts.....named to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team after helping Cedarville to a runner-up finish.....scored one goal with two assists for four points during the campaign.....netted the second tally in a 3-0 league win over Malone.....assisted on the winner in a 3-2 result at Cornerstone.....also garnered an assist in a 4-0 victory against Campbellsville in the opening round of the NCCAA Nationals.

2009 - Appeared in 19 matches as a freshman and made 17 starts in the back.....part of CU defense that posted seven shutouts on the season.

High School - Played four years of soccer with two letters at Penn Trafford High School.....totaled 24 goals and 19 assists during his career.....two-time All-Section honoree in WPIAL Section 1.....All-WPIAL AAA All-Star.....recognized as a Pittsburgh East Soccer AAA All-Star.....twice named Offensive Team MVP.....served as a team captain.....extensive club experience.....member of State Cup Championship squad.....earned one letter in track & field.....WPIAL finalist in the 400 meters.
