Kady Monson has been the Cedarville University tennis assistant coach beginning with the 2023-24 academic year.
She works alongside her husband, Karl, who serves as the head coach of both the men’s and women’s programs.
Kady possesses more than 25 years of tennis experience as a teaching professional, instructor, and coach.
She also spent more than two decades in middle school and high school classrooms as a mathematics teacher.Â
Prior to coming to Cedarville she was a teacher and co-ed varsity head tennis coach at Schaeffer Academy in Rochester, Minn. from 2012 through 2023.
Monson was a four-year letter winner during her collegiate career at Division III Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 1993 through 1996 where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
She paced the Blugolds to four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships which featured her winning three league singles titles and two doubles crowns.
UW-Eau Claire advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships each year. Monson was ranked as high as No. 32 nationally in singles and No. 16 in doubles.
The Monsons have five children and reside in Fairborn. Their oldest child, Faith, is a senior tennis player for the Lady Jackets.
