CAREER STATS 

Aaron Sturgeon returns to the Yellow Jackets for his senior season in the pole vault.....G-MAC Indoor Third Team after placing third in 12-9.50 (3.90 meters).....best effort of the indoor season was 12-11.50 (3.95m) at Youngstown State.....vaulted in five outdoor meets with a season-best 13-5.75 (4.11m) at Otterbein.

2016 - Did not compete during his sophomore campaign.

2015 - G-MAC Indoor Second Team as a freshman.....conference pole vault runner-up by clearing 11-5.75 (3.50m).....best indoor mark was 13-2.50 (4.03m) at the NCCAA Championship to place 7th.....G-MAC Outdoor First Team.....league pole vault champion at 12-3.25 (3.74m).....outdoor PR of 13-7.25 (4.15m) which finished 5th at the NCCAA Championship.....G-MAC Freshmen Team indoors and outdoors.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Northwest High School.....qualified for the state meet in the pole vault.....posted a career-best mark of 13-feet 3-inches.....two-year participant in soccer.....member of the cross country squad for one season.

Personal - Linguistics major at Cedarville University.....born 5/29/96 in St. Louis, MO.....son of Gordon and Tammy Sturgeon.....older sister, Danielle, participated in volleyball and track & field at Hannibal-LaGrange.....older sister, Jennifer, was a track & field athlete at Hannibal-LaGrange.....has another older sister, Jessica.
