CAREER STATS

Alan Meyer is in his third year with the Yellow Jackets after transferring from NCAA Division III Trine University in Indiana.....cross country team captain.....participated in two meets.....clocked in 30:26.8 for the 8K at Wilmington.

2017-18 - Saw action in three indoor track meets as a junior.....turned in a career-best 3K of 9:39.07 at Grand Valley State.....established outdoor PR’s of 16:55.0 in the 5K at Miami and 36:17.31 in the 10K at Emory.....sat out the 2017 cross country season.

2016-17 - Competed in five indoor meets during the track season.....finished 10th in the 5K at Ohio Northern in 17:25.07.....best 3K mark was 10:04.35 at Grand Valley State.....did not compete during the outdoor season.....participated in four cross country meets as a junior.....best 8K was 28:14 at Wilmington.

High School - Ran three seasons of cross country with three letters at Liberty Center High School.....four-year scholar-athlete and served one season as team captain.....squad was the 2013 district and regional champions eventually placing 6th in the state.....team was two-time district runner-up.....earned all-league honors on the track in the 1,600 meters.....posted personal-bests in the 1,600 (4:54); 3,200 (10:53); and 5,000 (17:17).....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 1/30/96 in Wauseon, OH.....son of Jason and Jeannie Meyer.....has one younger brother.
