Alex Shrock is a third-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....competed in six varsity meets.....best 8K of the season was 26:54 as team’s #6 finisher, 25th overall, at the NCCAA Championship for runner-up squad.....CU’s #7 runner at the Friendship Invitational (27:28) and the All-Ohio Championship (27:40).

2015-16 - G-MAC Indoor Second Team.....conference runner-up in the 5,000 meters in 16:21.33.....posted a career-best 15:50.14 to place 10th at the NCCAA Indoor Championship.....G-MAC Outdoor Third Team.....placed 3rd in the league 10K in a career-best 33:10.21.....fastest 5K of the season was 16:22.84.....saw action in six cross country meets in 2015.....G-MAC Second Team placing 9th overall in 27:16 for the conference title team.....posted a PR of 26:38 at the Lewis Cross-Over.....#7 finisher for NCCAA championship team in 26:48.

2014-15 - G-MAC Freshmen Team on the track both indoors and outdoors.....placed 4th in the G-MAC indoor 5K in a season-best time of 16:24.97.....top 3K mark of 9:25.46 came in the NCCAA Indoor.....also finished 4th in the G-MAC outdoor 5K in 16:29.12.....fastest time of the season was 16:07.94 at Ohio Wesleyan.....also ran the 10K with a top time of 33:32.19 at the NCCAA Outdoor.....competed in six cross country meets.....all five 8K efforts were within 30 seconds of one another.....fastest time was 27:15 in the All-Ohio Championship.....placed 49th at Carnegie Mellon in 27:24 and was 27th in the Friendship Invitational in 27:33.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country at Garaway High School.....two-time All-Ohio Division III performer.....placed 7th in the state as a senior in 16:20.79 for the 5K and was 20th as a junior in 16:14.56.....team finished 3rd in the state in each of his final two years.....three-time All-Inter-Valley Conference.....league, county, and district champion as a senior.....two-time all-county.....accepted to run for Team Ohio at Midwest Meet of Champions.....three letters in track & field.....All-Ohio Division III as a senior placing 6th in the 3200 meters in 9:40.21.....conference and district champion in the event.....holds school records in the 3200 and 4 x 800 relay.
