Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Beau Michaud is in his fourth season as a thrower with the Yellow Jackets.....competed during the indoor season only as a junior.....placed 5th in the shot put at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational with a career-best heave of 44-feet 6-inches (13.56m).....improved his career-best weight throw to 48-8 (14.83m) to finish 4th in the CU Collegiate.

2012 - Ohio Independent Championship winner in the discus with a career-best mark of 139-4.....upped his top marks in the hammer (121-7) and outdoor shot put (43-10.5).....season-best indoor performances were 42-9 in the shot put and 44-11 in the weight throw.

2011 - Recorded indoor bests in the shot put (41-6) and weight throw (35-0.25).....notched outdoor season-bests in the shot put (38-9), discus (132-1), and hammer (95-1).

High School - Four-year track & field letter winner at Cheverus High School.....state runner-up in the indoor shot put as a senior and placed 3rd outdoors.....discus mark of 155-feet was the top mark in the state for the 2010 season.....state runner-up in the discus as a junior.....two-year letter winner in football and earned another in one season of golf.

Personal - Communications and economics major at Cedarville University.....born 8/31/91 in Topsham, ME.....son of Steven and Christine Michaud.....older brother, Ben, was a five-time NAIA All-American in the shot put with the Yellow Jackets from 2006-09.....older brother, Brigham, was an NCCAA All-America golfer at CU from 2008-12.
