Brendan Orchard is in his second season of distance running at Cedarville University.....ran in four varsity cross country meets in the fall.....posted an 8K PR of 27:50 at the Wilmington Classic.

2015-16 - Competed primarily in the 800 and 1,500 during the track & field campaigns.....best indoor 800 was 2:04.42 at Youngstown State.....fastest outdoor 1,500 was 4:14.20 at Wilmington.....finished 8th in the G-MAC Outdoor 1,500 in 4:16.42.....member of the cross country squad.....competed in the first five meets of the season.....best 8K was 28:18 in the All-Ohio Championship.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at nearby Xenia High School.....two-time cross country MVP for the Buccaneers.....best 5K was 16:52.....team’s track & field MVP as a senior.....Greater Western Ohio Conference 1,600 meter champion as a senior.....posted PR’s of 2:00 (800), 4:27 (1600), and 10:27 (3200).....member of 4 x 800 relay unit that qualified for the Division I Regional.....National Honor Society student.

Personal -Dean’s List student as a music major at Cedarville University.....born 8/29/96 in Dayton, OH.....son of Paul and Wendy Orchard.....father is CU’s head men’s cross country coach.....younger brother, Ryan, is a freshman distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....has two other younger brothers.
