CAREER STATS

Chase Gruet is in his fourth year at Cedarville University and his third as a member of the track & field program.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in two relay events during his junior campaign.....member of 4 x 400 unit that placed third in 3:24.65 which is the sixth-fastest time in school history.....part of distance medley relay that was third in 10:32.04.....competed in the 400 in six indoor meets.....set a PR of 50.46 seconds at Grand Valley State.....participated in two outdoor meets.....ran the 400 meter hurdles in a career-best 57.31 seconds at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate.

2017 - Fastest indoor 400 meters was 51.77 seconds at Youngstown State.....focused on the 400 meter hurdles during the outdoor season.....best mark was 57.63 which placed sixth at the G-MAC Championship.

High School - Graduate of Cedarville High School.....four-year letter winner in track & field for the Indians.....member of two-time district championship team.....2014 Ohio Heritage Conference champions.....competed four seasons each in cross country and basketball earning two letters in each sport.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 2/7/97 in Dayton, OH.....son of John and Racha Gruet.....has three younger brothers.
