CAREER STATS

David Gibbs is in his second academic year at Cedarville University as a transfer from Pensacola Christian College.....saw action in four meets during his first season in the cross country program.....best 8K was 27:54.3 at the Wilmington Classic.

2017-18 - Competed during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons as a sophomore.....posted top indoor marks in the 800 (2:15.90), mile (5:00.02), and 3K (10:28.36).....best outdoor times came in the 1,500 (4:34.92), steeplechase (11:14.88), and 5K (18:10.04).....G-MAC Academic Team.

High School - Attended Temple Christian Academy.....played three years of basketball.....two-year team captain.....graduated with academic honors.....triathlete and endurance runner who competed in his first season of organized track & field competition in 2018.....qualified and invited to compete in the 2015 and 2016 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championship.....has participated in a 100K ultramarathon, a Half Ironman, two marathons, over 20 half marathons, and five triathlons.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a molecular and cellular biology major at Cedarville University.....born 3/12/98 in Tampa, FL.....son of David III and Carin Gibbs.....has two older sisters as well as a twin sister, Danielle.
