Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Eli Pyles returns to the Yellow Jackets for his second season as a middle distance runner.....appeared in five varsity cross country meets in the fall.....best 8K mark of the season was 28:55 at the Ohio Independent Championship.

2010-11 - Focused on the middle distances on the track.....best indoor 800 time was 2:10.10 at Otterbein and fastest outdoor mark was 2:08.71 at Miami.....saw action in five varsity cross country meets during his rookie season.....clocked in a career-best time of 27:53 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.

High School - Three-year letter winner in cross country at Cedarville High School with four more letters earned in track & field.....All-Ohio Heritage Conference performer in both sports as a senior.....state qualifier on the track as a senior in the 4 x 800 meter relay and helped set school record at 8:05.88.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Technical and professional communication major at Cedarville University.....born 10/29/91 in Xenia, OH.....son of Dan and Jackie Pyles.....older sister, Elisabeth, was an All-America distance runner with the Lady Jackets from 2006-09.....also has one older brother and three other older sisters.
