Biography
Eric Kempton is back for his third year with the Yellow Jackets.....will participate in the middle distances.....did not compete in track & field or cross country as a sophomore in 2007-08.
2006-07 - Fastest time in the outdoor 800 meters was 2:06.50 as a freshman.....best mark in the indoor 800 was 2:08.01.....ran cross country in the fall for the first time and appeared in three varsity meets.....top time for the 8K was 29:16 which placed 45th of 94 runners in the Cedarville Open.
High School - Experienced a three-sport career at Audubon High School.....four-year letter winner in track & field as well as cross country.....participated in four seasons of basketball with three letters earned.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a global economics and international business double major at Cedarville University.....born 7/27/87 in Springfield, OH.....son of Mark and Andrea Kempton.....father is a former assistant men’s basketball coach at Cedarville.....has two younger brothers and a younger sister.
