Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Six-time NAIA All-America race walker Joshua Wiseman returns for his final track & field season with the Yellow Jackets.....finished six varsity cross country meets for nationally-ranked team and was among the top seven finishers each time out.....NCCAA All-American placing 13th in 27:03 for the 8K helping CU to the team title.....ran a career-best 26:11 at Aquinas.

2009-10 - Three-time NAIA Indoor All-American on the track in the 3K walk after finishing as the runner-up in 13:26.55.....best time of the season was 12:45.79 in the Cedarville Challenge.....NAIA Outdoor All-American in the 5K walk for the third straight year after placing 2nd in 21:05.22.....three-time American Mideast Conference champion in the event winning the title in a school and meet record mark of 20:46.06.....participated in the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 20K walk in Des Moines, Iowa.....competed in his third year of cross country during the fall.....appeared in five varsity meets.....turned in a season-best effort of 26:24 at the Friendship Invitational.....finished among CU’s top seven each time out.

2008-09 - NAIA national indoor track champion in the 3,000 meter race walk with a school-record time of 12:39.88.....repeated as NAIA Outdoor All-American in the 5K walk with a 4th-place showing in a season-best 22:02.47.....won AMC 5K walk for second straight year in 23:19.99.....participated in seven varsity cross country meets as a sophomore and finished among the team’s top seven runners six times.....posted a season-best time of 26:44 at the Aquinas Invitational which placed 65th of 228 competitors.

2007-08 - NAIA Indoor All-American in the 3K walk by placing 3rd in a season-best time of 13:58.24.....NAIA Outdoor All-American in the 5K walk finishing 5th in 24:24.19.....posted a season-best time of 23:20.08 to win the AMC 5K walk.....participated in five varsity cross country meets as a rookie.....placed 38th of 127 runners at the NAIA Region IX Championship with a season-best mark of 27:52 for the 8K.

High School - Participated in cross country during three seasons at Shawnee High School with two letters earned.....All-Central Buckeye Conference First Team runner as a senior in 2005.....achieved all-county, all-district, and all-region recognition.....member of team that claimed the CBC, Clark County, and district championships.....squad placed 3rd in the region and 8th in the state.....team captain.....earned two letters in three seasons of track & field competition.....team captured 2006 county and conference championships.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 8/26/87 in Athens, OH.....son of Charles and Rebecca Wiseman.....has two younger sisters and younger twin brothers.
