Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Michael Lacey will add depth to the distance running events for the Yellow Jackets.....competed in five varsity cross country meets in the fall as a rookie.....best time in the 8K was 27:05 which placed 24th of 91 runners in the Cedarville Open.

High School - Competed in four sports at Kenton Ridge High School.....lettered in his only season of cross country as a senior for the Cougars and was recognized as Team MVP.....competed four seasons in track & field and earned three letters.....two-time All-Clark County performer by the Springfield News-Sun.....named All-Area on the track as a senior.....part of 2008 Central Buckeye Conference champion 4 x 800 meter relay team.....wrapped up prep career as the district champion in the 1,600 meters, regional runner-up, and placed 13th in the state.....selected track Team MVP.....played three seasons of basketball with one letter.....member of CBC title squad as a junior.....picked up three letters in four seasons of soccer.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Carries an education major at Cedarville University.....born 3/16/89 in Norfolk, VA.....son of Mike and Molly Lacey.....has two younger sisters and two younger brothers.
