Ryan Orchard is in his second season with the Yellow Jacket distance running program.....sat out the 2016 cross country season.

2016-17 - Did not compete during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....saw competition in four varsity cross country meets as a freshman.....fastest 8K was 27:22 at the Lewis Cross-Over.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at Xenia High School.....Team MVP in cross country as a senior.....All-Greater Western Ohio Conference honoree his final season.....OHSAA all-district performer.....regional qualifier placing 21st overall in 16:32 for the 5K.....regional qualifier on the track in the 4 x 800 relay.....posted PR’s in the 800 (2:02); 1,600 (4:33); 3,200 (9:54); and 5,000 (16:21).....graduated with academic honors.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Marketing major at Cedarville University.....born 8/9/98 in Dayton, OH.....son of Paul and Wendy Orchard.....father is CU’s head men’s cross country coach.....older brother, Brendan, is a junior at Cedarville and was a two-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....has two other younger brothers.
