CAREER STATS

Samuel Harper is in his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets as a middle distance performer.....competed in the 800 meters as a junior.....best indoor mark was 2:02.68 at the G-MAC Championship.....fastest outdoor time was 1:59.27 at Otterbein.

2017 - Missed most of the track & field campaign.....only competition came indoors at Tiffin with a time of 1:09.67 in the 500 meters.

2016 - Member of indoor distance medley team that set the then school record at Grand Valley State.....joined Wyatt Hartman, Forrest Thayer, and Daniel Michalski to turn in a time of 10:02.91.....G-MAC Indoor Freshmen Team.....placed fourth in the 800 at the G-MAC Outdoor Championship in a season-best time of 1:58.02.

High School - Graduate of Greenville High School.....earned three varsity letters in track & field as well as cross country.....recognized as the school’s Most Valuable Runner.....regional champion in the 4 x 800 meter relay.....district 800 meter champion.....4 x 800 meter relay squad won the conference title.....posted a personal-best 800 time of 1:58.....previously attended Arcanum High School.....Scholar-Athlete.

Personal - Information technology management major at Cedarville University.....born 7/19/96 in Columbus, Ohio.....son of Rev. Jeff and Colleen Harper.....has one older brother and one younger brother.
