Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Sam LeMaster is a fourth-year thrower for the Yellow Jackets.....placed 4th in the NCCAA outdoor shot put with a career-best heave of 53-feet 10.25-inches.....6th at Miami in 53-9.25.....Ohio Independent Championship winner at 48-0.50.....set a PR in the discus of 141-9 at Miami.....won the hammer in the Yellow Jacket Open with a career-best toss of 162-4.....established an indoor shot put PR of 48-6 at Indiana Wesleyan.

2011 - NCCAA Indoor runner-up in the shot put with heave of 48-feet 2-inches.....placed 3rd in the NCCAA Outdoor at 48-6.75.....American Mideast Conference runner-up at 48-0.50.....advanced to the NAIA Outdoor finals and finished 9th with at 52-4.....upped his career mark in the weight throw to 48-6.25 in the Cedarville Indoor.....posted outdoor season bests of 137-0 in the discus at the Cincinnati Open and 162-0 in the hammer at the Miami Invitational.

2010 - NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the shot put as the runner-up with a season-best mark of 49-2.50.....AMC runner-up in the discus at 138-4.....top performance in the hammer was 144-4 at Miami.....posted indoor bests of 43-6.50 in the shot and 45-5 in the weight throw.

High School - Produced an outstanding career at nearby Greeneview High School.....earned All-Ohio Division II honors in the shot put as a senior after placing 8th with a heave of 53-7.50.....graduated with the school record in the event at 56-7.25.....three-time region qualifier in the shot put and was the runner-up as a senior.....qualified for the regional in the discus twice.....four-time district qualifier in the shot and discus.....two-time shot put district runner-up and was the discus runner-up as a junior.....2009 Ohio Heritage Conference shot put champion.....placed 4th in the discus at the 2008 Jesse Owens Classic with a personal-best toss of 162-6.50.....two-time participant in the Ohio Indoor Track & Field Championship placing 5th in the shot put as a senior and 8th as a junior.....four-year letter winner in track & field and was a three-time team captain.....lettered four years in football.
