Emily Cornish is in her second campaign with the Lady Jacket softball squad.....appeared in 17 games including 10 starts in the circle last spring.....posted an 8-2 record with a 3.07 earned run average.....registered a third-most 70 2/3 innings of work and seven complete games.....went the distance for first collegiate victory - a 4-1 win over Lake Erie in Clermont, Florida - allowing just five hits.....posted a season-high five strikeouts against visiting Oakland City in a 4-1 elimination-game win in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region Tournament.....NCCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Freshmen Team.

High School - Four-year letter winner in softball at Keystone High School.....member of the 2012 Ohio Division II state championship team as squad earned a #1 ranking in the country by USA Today and Maxpreps.com.....member of the 2011 DII state runner-ups, 2013 Patriot Athletic Conference (PAC) championship and 2014 district champion teams.....two-time PAC all-league selection.....produced a 12-0 record with a 1.09 earned run average including 74 strikeouts in 64.1 innings during senior season.....fired two no-hitters and one perfect game in the 2014 season.....compiled a 27-3 mark in the circle during four-year prep career.....four-time PAC Scholar-Athlete.....National Honor Society student.
