Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jennifer Spann is back for a third season with the Lady Jackets.....did not attend CU during the 2011-12 academic year.....made 10 starts in the circle and a staff-high 14 relief appearances last spring.....posted a 9-3 record with a 4.56 earned run average in 89 innings of action....totaled 52 strikeouts while registered five complete games and a pair of saves.....notched a season-high six K’s without a walk in an 8-3 complete game decision over Post during the annual spring break trip to Florida.....all-time leader at Cedarville with a .741 winning percentage on a two-year record of 20-7.....tied for second all-time with three career saves.....tied for fifth all-time with 21 relief appearances.....tied for tenth all-time in wins (20), shutouts (3) and ERA (3.34).

2011 - Appeared in 26 games with 19 starts and 11 complete games in the circle.....posted a staff-best 2.49 earned run average and a second-best 88 strikeouts.....registered 126 2/3 innings of work while posting an 11-4 record as the Lady Jackets went 32-21.....tallied a season-high 10 strikeouts in a complete game American Mideast Conference win over visiting Ursuline.....went all nine innings in 4-2 AMC victory at Walsh.....also started nine games at designated hitter, one game at first base and one game in left field.....posted a .333 batting average with 12 base hits in 36 at bats.....added five doubles and seven RBI’s.

High School - Participated in three sports at Kalkaska High School as a homeschool student.....earned one letter in softball.....member of four district championship teams.....received Michigan All-State honorable mention recognition.....also participated in cross country and basketball.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Broadcasting and digital media major at Cedarville University.....born 2/14/92 in Las Cruces, NM.....daughter of Lynn and Margret Spann....has an older brother, two younger brothers and a younger sister.
