Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Katie Woodard is in her third season with the Lady Jacket softball program.....sat out the 2014 season as a red shirt due to injury.....earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference All-Academic honors.

2013 - Appeared in 23 games with 18 starts - 17 at catcher and one as a designated hitter.....batted .255 on a 12-for-47 performance.....added two doubles, a triple and a home run to the CU offense.....tallied nine runs batted in and 19 total bases.....went 2-for-3 with an RBI in an 8-7 eight-inning setback to Grand Valley State during the annual spring break trip to Florida.....registered a 1-for-2 effort with a run scored and two RBI’s in a 9-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win against visiting Ursuline.

High School - Two-sport participant at Preble Shawnee High School.....four-year softball letter winner.....helped team to the 2012 Southwestern Buckeye League (SWBL) championship.....two-time all-star selection.....four-year All-SWBL selection.....two-time Player of the Year honoree.....four-year volleyball letter winner.....team earned the 2011 SWBL title.....four-year scholar-athlete.....class valedictorian.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a pharmacy major at Cedarville University.....born 12/1/93 in Camden, OH.....daughter of Steve and Michelle Woodard....has a younger sister and two younger brothers.
