Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Nikki Eigsti is in her third campaign with the Lady Jacket softball program.....appeared in 52 of the 61 games last spring with 37 starts at first base/designated hitter.....posted a .302 batting average with six doubles, two triples and two home runs.....went 3-for-4 including a two-run single in the sixth inning to give CU a 4-2 elimination game win over visiting Oakland City in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Regional.....produced a season-high three RBI’s on a three-run homer in an early season setback to Grand Valley State in Clermont, Florida.....matched the season-high RBI mark in an 11-3 non-conference win at Urbana.....handled 171 fielding chances with just two errors for a team-best .988 fielding mark.....reached base a third-best 13 consecutive games during the 2015 campaign.....NCCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team.

2014 - Appeared in 35 of the 54 games with 28 starts - 15 at first base, 12 as DH and one in the outfield.....produced a fifth-highest .297 batting average including four doubles and a triple.....added 10 runs scored and 10 runs batted in.....went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a season-high four RBI’s in a 14-9 victory against Grand Valley State during the spring break trip to Clermont, Florida.....registered a 3-for-3 outing at the plate with a run scored and an RBI during a 4-0 spring break victory over Lewis.....produced a 2-for-3 effort with a run scored and three RBI’s in a 9-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win against visiting Trevecca Nazarene.....earned G-MAC Honorable Mention.

High School - Participated in four sports at Morton High School.....four-year letter winner in softball.....earned all-conference second team honors as a senior.... participated in area all-star game.....three-year letter winner in cross country.....also member of the prep volleyball and basketball programs.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 2/15/95 in Morton, IL.....daughter of Mark and Pamela Eigsti....older brother, Nathan, was a two-year member of the baseball team at Illinois Central College.
