Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Rachel Furman is in her second campaign with the Lady Jacket softball squad.....appeared in 16 games with three starts in the circle.....posted a 2-3 record with 14 strikeouts in 36 innings of action.....registered a 5.25 earned run average as one of four members of the 2016 pitching corps.....first collegiate win was against Wayne State NE during the annual spring break trip to Florida.....also posted a win over Urbana in the second game of a doubleheader at Lady Jacket Field.

High School - Four-year letter winner at Lancaster High School.....three-time All-Golden League First Team selection.....2014 Team Most Valuable Player and 2015 Offensive Player of the Year.....member of the 2013 All-Antelope Valley Press Team.....extensive experience with the Stealth-Adams Fastpitch Organization....team was the 2013 and 2014 USA Preps 18U National Champions.....also a four-year letter winner in cross country.

Personal - Multi-age health and physical education major at Cedarville University.....born 4/9/97 in Lancaster, CA.....daughter of Dana and Kimberly (McCoy) Furman....mother played both basketball (1990-93) and softball (1991-92) at Cedarville.....has a younger sister and a younger brother.
