Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Samantha Hayner is in her second season with the Cedarville University softball team.....appeared in 46 of the 54 games last spring with 36 starts - 31 in the outfield and five as a designated hitter.....registered a sixth-best .291 batting mark with 30 hits in 103 at bats.....ranked fifth on the team with 24 runs scored.....added five doubles and 12 runs batted in.....produced a second-best 12-game hitting streak and a third-best 21-game stretch of reaching base safely during 2014.....recorded seven two-hit games and four two-RBI contests.....contributed five stolen bases and five sacrifice hits.....National Christian College Athletic Association Midwest Region All-Tournament Team.

High School - Three-year letter winner at Mason High School....team advanced to the 2013 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division I State Final Four while earning a regional title.....member of two district championship and three sectional title teams.....garnered Greater Miami Conference First Team honors as a senior.....named to the 2013 All-Cincinnati team.....batted .357 with a .381 on base percentage during final season.....produced a career batting mark of .312.
