Alyssa Strickland joined the Cedarville University women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach beginning with the 2022-23 academic year.
She spent the previous two seasons on the women’s basketball coaching staff at Ohio Christian University.
Strickland was the interim head coach at the NAIA school for the 2021-22 campaign after serving as the team’s graduate assistant during the 2020-21 schedule.
In her interim role, she guided the Trailblazers to 11 victories, a berth in the River States Conference Tournament, and she saw two of her players recognized with all-conference honors.
Strickland was an assistant coach for one season at her alma mater, Yellowstone Christian College in Montana, in 2019-20.
The Conway, Arkansas native made three stops during a four-year collegiate basketball career beginning with Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 2014-15.
Strickland then played two years at Grace University in Nebraska where she was named Team MVP and set the school record for most assists in a season.
When the school closed its doors, she competed her senior year at Yellowstone Christian in 2018-19. She helped the Centurions to an appearance in the NCCAA National Tournament while picking up all-conference second team honors.
Alyssa is a 2019 graduate of Yellowstone Christian College with a degree in psychology. She earned a masters in leadership with an emphasis in business management from Ohio Christian University in 2022.
