Kelsey Key

Kelsey Key joined the Cedarville University women’s basketball staff as the program’s new assistant coach in July, 2021.

She comes to the Lady Jackets after serving as assistant coach at Division II Gannon University in Erie, Pa. for two seasons.

Key helped lead Gannon to an impressive 38-7 overall record, one PSAC Tournament title, and a berth in the NCAA Division II Championship.

She previously was an assistant coach for one season at her alma mater, Indiana Wesleyan University, and was a graduate assistant for two years at Bethel College (Ind.).

The Anderson, Indiana native earned NAIA Division II All-America Third Team honors during her playing career at IWU. She was an All-Crossroads League First Team selection as well as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

She has been involved in international missions as part of two Athletes in Action tours to Poland and Puerto Rico.

Key is a 2017 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan where she majored in sports management. She earned a master’s degree in teaching from Bethel College in 2019.
