Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Deborah Chandler returns for her fourth season with the Cedarville University women’s basketball team…..one of three players to appear in all 30 games last year.....made 28 starts during the campaign.....produced a fourth-best 7.4 points per game scoring average.....grabbed a fifth-best 3.6 rebounds per contest.....hit a season-high 14 points in an early-season win over Salem International.....posted double-figure scoring in eight other contests.....brought down a season-high eight rebounds versus Salem International in an early-February win over the visiting Tigers.....member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Midwest Region Second Team.

2011-12 - Saw action in 26 of 32 games with 22 starts.....missed six consecutive games in late November and mid-December due to hand injury.....averaged 19.9 minutes per contest.....team’s fourth-best rebounder at 3.7 boards per game.....fifth-leading scorer at 6.9 points per game.....tossed in a career-high 17 points in an 84-59 win versus Wilberforce.....scored in double figures in six other games.....hauled in a career-high 11 rebounds during a 78-66 victory at Central State.....blocked three shots in 86-47 win at Ursuline.

2010-11 - Appeared in 33 of 34 games including one start.....saw 18 minutes of action per game.....averaged 5.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest.....team’s third-best rebounder.....scored a season-high 16 points in the 2010-11 American Mideast Conference opener - an 80-42 victory over Malone.....garnered a season-best nine rebounds in a non-conference win at Michigan-Dearborn.....made an impressive collegiate debut with 15 points and eight boards versus Northwestern Ohio.....posted double-figure scoring on four occasions.....named to the AMC Freshmen Team.

High School - Recorded a solid three-year basketball career at Southlake Carroll High School…..member of two-time district and bi-district championship squads…..District MVP.....Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-Star….. team’s leading scorer as well as top free-throw and three-point field goal shooter….averaged 12.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg as a senior and helped lead team to a 23-10 record…..All-District Academic honors.

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 2/10/92 in Bedford, TX.....daughter of Bryan and Linda Chandler.....has three older siblings – brother Nathan played quarterback at the University of Iowa, sister Caitlin was a member of the basketball team at John Brown University and brother Scott was a tight end at Iowa, and is in his seventh year in the NFL and third year as a member of the Buffalo Bills.
