Biography

Emily Williams returns for a fourth season with the Lady Jacket basketball program.....will serve as one of three captains.....appeared in all 30 games including 26 starts in 2016-17.....led team in rebounding at 8.1 boards per contest....also topped the squad in blocked shots with 43 which ranks seventh-best in a single season at CU.....registered a team-high 183 defensive rebounds.....added 5.9 points per game while hitting .464 from the field on 70-of-151 shooting.....totaled double figure rebounds in 11 games.....pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) victory at Kentucky Wesleyan.....grabbed 12 boards on three occasions - versus Cincinnati Christian, Central State and Wilberforce.....tallied a career-high 16 points in a G-MAC game at Malone and in a non-conference win over visiting Salem International.....totaled a career-high five blocked shots on three occasions.....ranks ninth all-time at CU with 69 career blocked shots.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015-16 - Appeared in all 30 games including nine starts.....averaged 4.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.....tied for the team lead with 67 offensive rebounds.....recorded a season-high 15 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field in an early season non-conference game against Tiffin.....scored in double figures in four other games.....brought down a career-high of 11 rebounds in each of the two season-opening games of the campaign.....handed out four assists in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win over visiting Trevecca.....member of G-MAC Academic Team.

2014-15 - One of six players to appear in all 31 games.....one of seven rookies on the squad.....averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.....produced a team-leading .731 field goal percentage on a 49-of-67 shooting effort.....scored a season-high 12 points in a 101-72 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) victory against Alderson Broaddus and in the G-MAC Tournament semifinal win over Central State - both games hitting all six FG attempts.....garnered a season-high nine rebounds to go with eight points in a G-MAC victory against Salem International.....brought down eight boards - including seven defensive - in the win over AB.

High School - Produced a two-sport career at Fredericktown High School.....four-year letter winner in basketball.....led team to district runner-up in 2013 and Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference championship in 2014.....two-time All-Ohio Division III honorable mention.....participated in Ohio North / South All-Star game.....three-time All-Central District First Team.....four-time District 11 First Team selection.....four-time all-conference first team.....two-time Team Most eValuable Player.....averaged 16.5 points and 13.9 rebounds per game during senior campaign.....Mount Vernon News Player of the Year as a junior.....registered 1,330 points and 937 rebounds during prep career.....2014 All-Ohio Academic Basketball honoree.....three-year letter winner in volleyball.....two-time Team MVP.....All-Central District and District 11 First Team selection.....all-conference first team.....All-Central District All-Star game participant.....280 kills and 320 digs during junior season.....OHSAA Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award winner.....OHSAA Scholar-Athlete.....National Honor Society student.
