CAREER STATS
Abigail Snyder is a fourth-year distance runner at Cedarville.....will serve as one of five captains this fall.....ran in three of the seven cross country events during the 2017 campaign......tallied a 26:17 6K effort at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships in Nashville, Tennessee.....produced a 19:45 outing at the season-opening 5K Queen City Invitational.....G-MAC Academic Team.....also earned NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and G-MAC Academic Team recognition for track & field.
2016 - Participated in five meets as a sophomore.....turned in a career-best 5K of 19:26 as the Lady Jackets’ #4 finisher and 23rd overall at the NCCAA Championship.....placed 30th of 172 at Wisconsin-Parkside with a 6K PR of 24:04.....finished 25th in the G-MAC Championship in 25:11.....ran the distance events during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2015 - Saw action in the first five meets of her rookie season.....team’s #6 finisher and placed 17th overall in the G-MAC Championship with a 6K time of 24:57.....best mark was 24:22 in the All-Ohio Championship.....fastest 5K was 19:56 at Evansville.....ran in one indoor track & field meet.
High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country at Daniel Boone Area High School.....two-time all-county selection.....turned in a personal-best 5K of 19:03 as a senior.....two-time Class AAA state qualifier.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....graduated with the school record in the 3,200 at 11:36.63.....finished 12th in the event at the 2013 District 3 Championship.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an allied health major at Cedarville University.....born 11/15/96 in Raleigh, NC.....daughter of Doug and Angela Snyder.....older brother, Nathan, was a four-year distance runner at Grove City.....has another older brother, Aaron.
