Carly Rose is back for her fourth year with the Lady Jackets.....appeared in six meets as a junior.....team’s #3 finisher and 21st overall at the NCCAA Championship in 19:22 for the 5,000 meters.....posted a career-best 5K of 19:18 in the Friendship Invitational.....opened the season with a career-best 6K of 23:19 at the Queen City Invitational.....finished 21st in the G-MAC Championship in 24:58.....middle distance competitor in track & field.....G-MAC Indoor First Team as part of winning 4 x 400 meter relay unit that established a meet record time of 3:59.52.....outdoor runner-up in the 4 x 400 for G-MAC Outdoor Second Team honors.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2015 - Competed in five meets during her sophomore year.....All-G-MAC Second Team by placing 12th in 24:40 for the 6K.....ran a career-best 23:34 in the All-Ohio Championship.....had a 5K PR of 19:37 at both the Friendship Invitational and the Evansville Invitational.....G-MAC Indoor First Team as a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay championship foursome.....placed 3rd in the indoor 800 meters.....G-MAC Outdoor First Team in the 4 x 400 and was 3rd in the 800.....part of school-record in the outdoor 4 x 800 meter relay of 8:59.84 set at the Texas Relays.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2014 - Ran in six cross country meets as a freshman.....best 6K time was 25:02 in the All-Ohio Championship to place 199th out of 503 competitors.....finished 9th in the Cedarville Open in 19:50 for the 5K.....outstanding rookie campaign on the track.....NCCAA indoor champion in the distance medley.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in both the DMR and 800.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American as runner-up in the 4 x 800.....helped set school record in the indoor distance medley at Indiana University.....member of school-record outdoor 4 x 800 quartet at the Emory Invitational.....G-MAC Outdoor Third Team in the 4 x 400.....G-MAC Freshmen Team both indoors and outdoors.
High School - Graduate of Fairfield Union High School.....three-sport athlete during prep career but did not run cross country.....earned three letters in three seasons of track & field.....placed 8th in the 2014 Ohio Division II 4 x 800 meter relay for all-state honors.....Mid-State League Buckeye Division champion in the 800, 1600, 4 x 400, and 4 x 800 as a senior.....school and Southeast District record holder in both relay events.....2014 MSL Buckeye Division, Lancaster Eagle Gazette, and Alan Myers Female Runner of the Year.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....played in 2013 Southeast District All-Star Game.....played two seasons of basketball with one letter.....member of 2012 MSL Buckeye Division championship team on the hardwood.....valedictorian of graduating class.
