Biography
Elisa Cherry is back for her fourth season with the Lady Jackets.....appeared in two varsity meets during junior year.....best 5K time was 22:09 in the Friendship Invitational.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2011 - Competed in four varsity meets as a sophomore.....turned in a career-best mark of 21:39 at the Friendship Invitational.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in both indoor and outdoor track & field.
2010 - Saw action in four varsity meets as a freshman.....best time was 21:48 at the University of Dayton Challenge.....distance runner on the track team.
High School - Four-year runner in cross country at Lincoln-Way Central High School.....participated in track & field four seasons.....graduated with academic honors.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an integrated mathematics major at Cedarville University.....born 12/21/91 in Joliet, IL.....daughter of Doug and Becky (Averill) Cherry.....both parents were four-year distance runners for the Yellow Jackets.....has two younger brothers and a younger sister.
