2013 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Joanna Wheatley returns for her fourth year at Cedarville University.....did not run cross country last fall because of injury.....still honored as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2011 - Appeared in four varsity meets during her sophomore year.....fastest 5K time of the campaign was 21:33 at the Friendship Invitational.
2010 - Ran in five varsity meets as a freshman.....turned in a career-best time of 20:36 at the American Mideast Conference Championship which placed 48th of 120.
High School - Three-sport athlete at Delaware Academy.....five-year letter winner in cross country.....member of two-time Class D Section IV championship team.....twice named squad’s Most Valuable Runner.....All-Mid-State Athletic Conference performer.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....part of one conference title team.....participated in basketball one season and earned a letter.....graduated with high academic honors.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 2/20/92 in Olean, NY.....daughter of David and Elaine Wheatley.....older brother, Peter, was an All-America track & field athlete at Houghton College.....has two older sisters and another older brother.
