Biography
Kathryn Sill is a four-year distance runner with the Lady Jackets.....serves as a team captain.....completed six varsity races as a junior.....turned in a 6K career-best of 23:39 to finish 12th in the G-MAC Championship.....posted a career-low 5K of 19:44 to place 7th in the Cedarville Open.....G-MAC Outdoor Second Team on the track with a runner-up finish in the 10,000 meters for the second straight year.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2013 - Sat out the cross country season with an injury.....competed in the distance events during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....All-G-MAC Second Team as the runner-up in the outdoor 10K.....G-MAC Academic Team.
2012 - Ran in four varsity meets during her freshman year.....best 5K time was 20:46 at Wisconsin-Parkside.....ran the distance events during the track & field season.
High School - Two-sport standout at Andover High School.....lettered in her only season of cross country as a senior.....state qualifier, who also earned all-league and all-sectional accolades.....picked up three letters in four seasons of competition in track & field.....three-time all-league performer.....graduated with academic honors.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a journalism major while minoring in criminal justice at Cedarville University.....born 9/23/93 in Mesa, AZ.....daughter of Robert and Lydia Sill.....both parents were athletes at Los Angeles Baptist College, currently The Master’s College.....older sister, Jaclyn, competed in track & field at Emporia State.....has two older brothers.
