Lauren Ries is in her second season with the Lady Jacket cross country team.....did not compete during the 2017 campaign due to injury.....transferred from Liberty University after previously attending Word of Life Bible Institute (WOLBI) in Florida.....member of the WOLBI Intramural Running Club.....took first place in the 18-21 age group with a time of 1:09.40 at the Gasparilla 15K in Florida with approximately 6,000 total runners.
High School - Attended Tricities Christian School.....graduated from Bristol High School.
Personal - Nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 1/4/96 in Orlando, FL.....daughter of Dr. J. Scott and Jodi Ries.....has an older sister and a younger brother.
