Biography
Stacey Keller is a four-year distance runner for the Lady Jackets and is a team captain.....produced an exceptional junior season finishing among the team’s top seven runners in all eight meets.....NCCAA All-American placing 14th in 18:52 for the 5K.....turned in a career-best 18:48 to finish 13th in the NAIA Region IX Championship to earn American Mideast Conference Second Team honors.....clocked in 19:13 as CU’s #6 finisher for NAIA runner-up team.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in cross country and track.
2006 - Competed in six of eight varsity meets including the NAIA Championship where she posted a time of 20:06 for national runner-up squad.....recorded a season-best mark of 19:52 at the AMC/NAIA Region IX Championship.....All-AMC Second Team performer in the 1,500 on the track with a runner-up time of 4:49.31.
2005 - Ran in all eight varsity meets as a freshman and helped the team finish 4th at the NAIA Championship.....best outing was a 19:34 at the NCCAA Championship which placed 28th of 142 runners.....finished 23rd of 155 competitors with a 19:54 effort as CU captured the AMC and NAIA Region IX titles.....turned in a time of 19:53 at the NAIA Nationals.....distance runner on the track & field squad.
High School - Experienced a record-setting career at Harrisburg Christian High School.....two-time state meet participant in cross country.....placed 12th in the district as a junior and was 29th at the state level.....finished 13th in the district as a senior.....four-year letter winner on the track with school records in the 800; 1,600; and 3,200 meters.....also holds the league mark in the 1,600 meters.....member of 2005 conference championship track & field squad.....played two seasons of field hockey with two letters.....salutatorian of graduating class.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a vocal performance major at Cedarville University.....born 6/22/87 in Harrisburg, PA.....daughter of Jim and Karen Keller.....has one older sister.
