Biography
Tabitha DeHart returns for her third year with the Lady Jackets.....ran in all seven meets as a sophomore and was among the team’s top six finishers each time out.....posted a career-best 5K mark of 19:21 at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational.....placed 15th in the Friendship Invitational in 19:35.....finished 6th in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in 20:02.....All-G-MAC First Team.....middle distance runner on the track & field team and was an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2011 - Participated in four varsity meets as a freshman.....best time was 20:36 at the Friendship Invitational.....enjoyed an outstanding season on the track.....NCCAA indoor champion in the distance medley.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 800 and 4 x 400 relay.....won the 800 meters in the Ohio Independent Championship.
High School - Homeschool graduate, who competed at Cheltenham High School.....named to the 2010 District One Suburban American League All-Conference Team in cross country.....placed 9th in the league championship meet.....earned three letters in track & field.....selected Team Co-MVP.....picked up all-conference recognition in the 400, 800, 1600, 4 x 400, and 4 x 800.....member of back-to-back outdoor conference title teams.....placed 10th in the PIAA Indoor State Championship in the 800.....anchored the 4 x 400 meter relay team in the Penn Relays.....graduated with high academic honors.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an English major at Cedarville University.....born 10/25/93 in Glenside, PA.....daughter of Jonathan and Sue DeHart.....has one older brother and a younger brother.
